Soltvadkert, July 2011: In the competition, wines grape and rape brandies made from CSERSZEGI FŰSZERES, TRAMINI and IRSAI OLIVER vines were entered in the category of trade, manufacture and museum wines.
The aim of the competition was to evaluate the quality of the CSERSZEGI FŰSZERES wines, the emblematic vine of Hungary and to keep tabs on results of 2010 and previous vintages. The competition was held in the “capital” of Cserszegi Fűszeres. There is the biggest continuous Cserszegi Fűszeres vine plantation of Hungary in Soltvadkert.
The professional committee judged on 50 samples of 12 wine regions and chose the best Cserszegi Fűszeres wine of 2011, besides it gave a number of gold and silver medals to the wines and brandies.
The application engineer of the Linde Gas Hungary Co. Cltd spoke about the gases and equipment used in wine making. The enquirers got information about the application of our gases and the widespread gas application opportunities.
There was a wine festival after the competition where the wine farmers tried to give professional information besides the good quality wines.
